Round the Bays is an 8.4km run/walk from the centre of Auckland out to St Heliers beach. It is a beautiful route along some of Auckland's most popular beaches and seaside areas. Tom (running) came 207th and Rache (walking) came 1100th.
After taking in Telecom's corporate (very generous in the beer and food supplies) hospitality, we headed down to the Daylight Savings festival at Grey Lynn park. NZ's top soul/jazz/funk bank Fat Freddy's Drop treated us to a very fine performance in the welcome sunshine, as did Spektrum, all the way from the UK
